Bell Asphalt has been trading since 1971 as a structural waterproofing company specialising in the application of mastic asphalt for roofing, flooring, tanking, bridge decks and much more.
During that time, it has been responsible for waterproofing many high profile projects in the UK and Europe from shopping malls to historic buildings, from major public sector contracts to the sympathetic waterproofing of war memorials.
In addition to high profile contracts, Bell Asphalt is also able to offer a wide range of additional services such as maintenance and many other waterproofing and roofing disciplines.
Bell Asphalt is one of the oldest and most successful specialist waterproofing contractors in the UK. It has an international reputation for quality and workmanship and is regularly involved in high profile projects across the UK and Europe.
The company was chosen to waterproof the Thiepval Memorial in Picardie, France, built to honour more than 70,000 servicemen who fell at the Somme and have no known grave.
Historic buildings such as Leeds Castle and Coalhouse Napoleonic Fort in Tilbury have also been waterproofed by Bell Asphalt together with numerous more modern projects such as Tower Bridge, The Malls Shopping Centre, Basingstoke and many more.
Bell Asphalt is a board member of MAC (Mastic Asphalt Council) which means every project involving mastic asphalt receives an automatic 20 year warranty covering materials and labour.
But it doesn’t always have to be mastic asphalt – Bell Asphalt can install almost any type of waterproofing to the same high standards.
